Hello To all of you out there.

It is with great pleasure that I open my very first contest Ever   .

You surely don't know me but that doesn't matter, I've been coming on DA for several years under different unknown names and I've seen lots of amazing creations and always wanted to do something for this community and promote great unknown artists. Lately I've been able to put a little money on the side and I'm finally able to open my very own contest with rewards.

The theme of the challenge : The 7 Deadly Sins or The 7 Heavenly Virtues

7 Deadly sins : Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Sloth, Wrath, Envy, Pride.

7 Heavenly virtues : Chastity, Temperance, Charity, Diligence, Patience, Kindness, Humility.

you shall chose either one but can't mix both, if you are courageous enough and have free time you are welcome to attempt both

Contest Schedule :

The participants will have from the 31st of June to the 26th of July to submit their entries.

Judging will take place from the 27rd to the 30th of July
And finally, on the 31st of July, I will post the winners and expose their art (as well as send them their well deserved prizes    ).

You will need to fill in a specific format :

Each sin/virtue must be filled into a tarot type card, so in total you will have to complete 7 cards
The borders of the cards do not count into the judging process so you can use the one given or draw your own from the moment that it respects the shape.

Your art will be limited to one style:

By that I mean that if you choose photography all your sins/virtues must be in photography, chibi = all chibi, Anthro = all anthro, fan art = all fan art, black and white = all black and white (you get my drift if not feel free to ask   ).

 How you choose to represent the sins/virtues is up to you. It can be creepy, dark, cute, sad, It is as you wish but you need to keep that spirit for all the sins/virtues to keep a harmony in your creations.

What about literature ?

After a question from I considered adding litterature as well.
Only little thing is that i'll be the sole judge of that as i didn't enroll the other judges for it.

The rules stay the same : one text per subject, one style allowed ( poem= all poems; stories = all stories; prose = all prose etc etc), and finally they shall not exceed 3000 words each.

4th to 10th place   = 180  

11th to 20th place   =100
